Transitioning seamlessly into the catering sector, she established herself as a distinguished owner/operator of a prominent company situated in the vibrant Philadelphia locale.
Venturing further into the industry’s ecosystem, Melissa pivoted towards the supplier domain, assuming the pivotal role of a food broker based in Maryland. Here, she excelled as a Regional Sales Representative, specializing in catering to institutional clients and spearheading the introduction of innovative products. Noteworthy among her clientele were industry giants like Aramark and Sodexo, for whom she meticulously maintained order guidelines.
Taking a hiatus in 2008 to nurture her family, Melissa re-emerged into the professional arena in 2015, contributing her expertise as a catering manager for a local eatery. Reaffirming her commitment to the industry, she transitioned into an administrative role with TIG, where her tenure since March 2020 has been characterized by a relentless pursuit of excellence.
